Sarah Allen
Sarah Allen – Owner, Director & Lead Teacher
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Early Education and Care at Bridgewater State University and is a certified Preschool Director II by The MA Department of Early Education and Care.
Sarah has been professionally working in early education and care for over ten years.

Sarah gained her knowledge from working in a Head Start program, private childcare centers, and family home-based childcare. Our World United Preschool’s culturally inclusive curriculum was inspired by the diversity within Sarah’s family and the communities in which she grew up. Sarah was born in Trinidad and raised in Queens, New York. Her husband was born in Chicago and spent his early childhood years in both Kenya and Chicago. With her husband and three children, Sarah settled in Harwich where her extended family resided since the 1950s. Her hope for Our World United Preschool is to inspire our future leaders to foster a society where all people are free to be themselves.

Lita Perry- Teacher
Ms. Lita joins OWU Preschool with her love and passion for guiding young minds to be the best version of themselves. Ms. Lita spent over 20 years volunteering her time and creativity in early education classrooms throughout the Cape. During the COVID lockdown, Ms. Lita successfully kept her 22 grandchildren, ranging from preschool-age to school-age, educationally on track by creating and teaching in an in-home classroom. Her love of teaching personally led Ms. Lita to continue her studies in early education while working at Our World United Preschool.
During Ms. Lita’s downtime, she enjoys cooking, and crocheting. Ms. Lita firmly believes that positive outcomes come from our experiences and having an open mind and heart.
